Description
The Flood Light is a type of Fueled Lamp which lights up a planar region (square) of the world. Each value of Heat Intensity of the Fuel used, found in the List of Fuels, is multiplied by 3.6 and rounded to give the distance covered in each direction. The blocks that are "lit up" are given a brightness value of 15, such that at the edges of the lit square, blocks have trail-off lighting effects.
For other dimensionality fueled lamps see the Gaslamp and Spotlight. The fueled lamps operate by placing fuel into the GUI that pops up when you Right Click on a Fueled Lamp Block.
Flood Lights shine for different distances depending on the heat intensity of the fuel source. More powerful fuels such as Drum (Sweet Kerosene) enable larger areas of the map to be lit up than say a Drum (Crude Oil). Flood Lights take Drums, Beakers and Vials of Fuel and will last longer depending on the size of the fuel container and the properties of the fuel itself.
