Description

Membrane separation is the process of separating or “fractioning” substances through a specific arranged set of openings or pores in a structure. Synthetic membranes made of polymers (such as LDPE, used here) or ceramics can efficiently separate gas mixtures.

The separation membrane is a key ingredient in the crafting of a Condenser.

Ingredients

A separation membrane is created using 4 Membrane O and 5 Membrane X pieces.
Both membranes are crafted from Low Density PolyEthylene (LDPE) Fibers placed in the crafting table in a shape resembling their letter, as shown.

You will need a Crafting Table, Extruder, a Machining Mill, Furnace, and a Chemical Processor to create the components of a separation membrane.
