Regulator (Extreme Pressure)

Description

A pressure regulator is a type of control valve used to release a highly pressurized fluid at a set lower pressure. This allows for a variety of liquids and gases to be safely and efficiently manipulated for a number of different purposes. As such, this valve is a necessary component of many devices and machines found in Polycraft. The fourth and final tier of regulator available for crafting in Polycraft can handle the most intense pressures, offering access to the strongest variants of many existing devices and machines. To craft this item, you will need redstone and multiple of both Gasket (Extreme Pressure) and Hose (Extreme Pressure) as specified in a recipe below. However, it should be noted that one will need access to an Injection Molder and an Extruder in order to craft any gasket or hose, respectively. Also, since these are extreme pressure items, some the strongest plastics available will be necessary to create them. Those plastics include Bag (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer Pellets), Bag (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Pellets), and Bag (PolyUrethane Pellets), however, the recipe for Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer Pellets is not listed. The other two plastics listed require the use of a Chemical Processor based on their given recipes. The resources needed for these recipes will likely require the use of the Chemical Processor as well if not some of the other machines lower on the tech tree. One final note, the machines needed for the crafting of a pressure regulator both need fuel and water as well as the proper molds to specify what you are crafting. Both the Mold (Gasket) and Metal Die (Hose) will need to be crafted using a Machining Mill.
