Tutorial

To make a parachute, we'll need two main ingredients:

Ammonia

Caprolactone

Caprolactone is formed by processing Cyclohexanone and Peracetic Acid in a Chemical Processor. Follow the steps below to obtain each, then return here.

Now, process the 2 Beakers of Cyclohexanone and 2 Beakers of Peracetic Acid:

Cyclohexanone

To make Cyclohexanone, we'll need

  • 2 Beakers of Benzene (obtained through the successive distillation of Crude Oil into BTX, and then BTX into Benzene)
  • 6 Cartridges of Hydrogen
  • 8 Platinum Catalysts
  • 2 Cartridges of Oxygen
  • 8 Cobalt Catalysts

To start, process the Benzene and Hydrogen with the Platinum Catalysts in the Chemical Processor to make Cylcohexane:

Then process the resulting Cyclohexane with the Oxygen and Cobalt Catalysts to form Cyclohexanone:

Peracetic Acid

To make 2 Beakers of Peracetic Acid, we'll need:

  • 4 Beakers of Acetylene (process 8 Cartridges of Methane in a Chemical Processor)
  • 4 Mercury Catalysts
  • 2 Cartridges of Oxygen

First, process the Acetylene with the Mercury Catalysts:

Then, process half (2 Beakers) of the resulting Acetaldehyde with the 2 Cartridges of Oxygen:
