Mask Writer
Description
The mask writer is a tool that is used to pattern thin film metal masks that can subsequently be used in a contact printer in a process called photolithography. As of Version 1.3.5, the Mask Writer need not be placed in a Cleanroom for proper operation. The mask writer takes nuggets and make them into thin film masks that will help pattern wafers. The mask writer will write mask sets. A mask set that is not complete, will not allow the production of the corresponding completed wafer. The specific nuggets shown in the examples are different kinds of nuggets that can be used to make the masks. A specific mask is not tied to a specific type of nugget.
