Description
The mask writer is a tool used for patterning thin film metal masks, which can subsequently be employed in a contact printer through a process called photolithography. As of Version 1.3.5, the Mask Writer doesn't require placement in a Cleanroom for proper operation. It transforms nuggets into thin film masks which aid in patterning wafers. The mask writer creates mask sets, crucial for producing completed wafers; an incomplete mask set hinders wafer production. The examples illustrate various kinds of nuggets that can be used in mask fabrication, emphasizing that a specific mask isn't bound to a particular nugget type.
