Description

Hay Bales are so last Tech Level. You could store goods in it but there are far better technologies to secure and organize goods. Would you rather store your goods in straw, or use a nylon conveyor belt guided by ultra precise laser generated by diamonds? Evolve the machinery in your complex to the latest technology to achieve higher efficiency.

Conveyor Belts: Every conveyor belt in a warehouse adds 1 delivery bot for your distribution center, increasing your capacity. Similar to the construction material upgrades, every Technology Level upgrades the quality of the conveyor belt in your warehouses. To count towards your score, any machinery must match the Technology Level of the warehouse it is in. As your technology advances, you will be able to get more advanced fibers to construct machinery that is more efficient in storing, sorting and delivering goods.

Rules for a valid conveyor belts:

1) Storage needs space. The larger your structures, the more goods you can store and deliver and more machinery you can accommodate. A structure can support 1 conveyor belts for every 9 floor blocks.

2) storing and processing goods requires space: The 4 blocks directly above each conveyor belt (2x2) must be open.

3) High tech warehouses require matching machinery, a virtuous cycle. The machinery must match the Tech Level of the warehouse.

For the exact conveyor belt needed for a given Technology Level, see the table below:

Tech Level Required Construction Material Required Conveyor Belt Type
1 Dirt Hay Bale Conveyor Belt
2 Wood Acrylic Wool Conveyor Belt
3 Stone (not cobblestone) Olefin Wool Conveyor Belt
4 Polexiglas Polyester Wool Conveyor Belt (Beginner)
5 ABS Bricks Polyester Wool Conveyor Belt (Intermediate)
6 Bronze Nylon Wool Conveyor Belt (Beginner)
7 Stainless Steel Nylon Wool Conveyor Belt (Intermediate)
8 Carbon Fiber Resin Nylon Silk Conveyor Belt (Advanced)
