To make a parachute, we'll need two main ingredients: 2 Cartridges of Ammonia and 2 Beakers of Caprolactone. Check out the sections below (Ammonia and Caprolactone) on how to make each, and then return here.

Now that you have your main ingredients, process the Ammonia and Caprolactone into Caprolactam via the Chemical Processor, as shown below:

Outputs Components Recipe
Beaker (Caprolactone)
2
Cartridge (Ammonia)
2
Beaker (Caprolactam)
4
Water Bucket
Water Bucket
Fuel

Then, take 3 of the resulting beakers of Caprolactam and turn them into sacks of Polycaprolactam Pellets via a Furnace:

Beaker (Caprolactam)
3
Sack (Polycaprolactam Pellets)

Next, craft the Polycaprolactam Sacks into Bags via a Crafting Table, and extrude the Bags into Fibers of Nylon 6 by using the proper Metal Die (Fibers) in an Extruder.

Now, craft 5 of the Nylon 6 Fibers in an 'X' shape to make a Ripstop Nylon Sheet:

Finally, craft the Ripstop Nylon Sheet with 4 more of the Nylon 6 Fibers to make the parachute:

Congratulations! You're finished! To use the parachute, simply hold it while falling, and you won't take any fall damage! Enjoy!

Ammonia

Ammonia is far simpler to make than Caprolactone. To make the Ammonia you'll need, process Nitrogen and Hydrogen with an Iron III Oxide Catalyst in a Chemical Processor:

Outputs Components Recipe
Iron III Oxide Catalyst
4
Cartridge (Nitrogen)
Cartridge (Hydrogen)
3
Cartridge (Ammonia)
2
Water Bucket

Fuel

Now, proceed to the next section where you'll make the required Caprolactone.

Caprolactone

Caprolactone is formed by processing Cyclohexanone and Peracetic Acid in a Chemical Processor. Follow the steps below to obtain each, then return here.

Now, process the 2 Beakers of Cyclohexanone and 2 Beakers of Peracetic Acid:

Outputs Components Recipe
Beaker (Cyclohexanone)
Beaker (Peracetic Acid)
Beaker (Caprolactone)
Water Bucket
Water Bucket
Fuel

Now that you've made your Caprolactone, return to the main section here to continue.

Cyclohexanone

To make Cyclohexanone, we'll need

To start, process the Benzene and Hydrogen with the Platinum Catalysts in the Chemical Processor to make Cylcohexane:

Outputs Components Recipe
Platinum Catalyst
8
Beaker (Benzene)
2
Flask (Hydrogen)
6
Beaker (Cyclohexane)
2
Water Bucket
Water Bucket
Fuel

Then process the resulting Cyclohexane with the Oxygen and Cobalt Catalysts to form Cyclohexanone:

Outputs Components Recipe
Cobalt Catalyst
8
Beaker (Cyclohexane)
2
Cartridge (Oxygen)
2
Beaker (Cyclohexanol)
Beaker (Cyclohexanone)
2
Water Bucket
Water Bucket
Fuel

Now, proceed to the next section to make Peracetic Acid.

Peracetic Acid

To make 2 Beakers of Peracetic Acid, we'll need:

First, process the Acetylene with the Mercury Catalysts:

Outputs Components Recipe
Beaker (Acetylene)
4
Mercury Catalyst
4
Beaker (Acetaldehyde)
4
Water Bucket
Water Bucket
Fuel

Then, process half (2 Beakers) of the resulting Acetaldehyde with the 2 Cartridges of Oxygen:

Outputs Components Recipe
Beaker (Acetaldehyde)
2
Cartridge (Oxygen)
2
Beaker (Peracetic Acid)
2
Water Bucket
Water Bucket
Fuel

Now return to the section above to continue.
