Description
The machining mill allows you to produce both metal molds and metal dies. Metal molds are used in the injection molder to produce new objects out of polymers pellets, and metal dies are used by the extruder to extrude a variety of polymer fibers. The molds and dies can be made out of platinum, stainless steel, steel, titanium, bismuth, brass, tungsten, aluminum, antimony, nickel, bronze, cobalt, magnesium, or manganese ingots. The lifetime of the mold depends on the metal used, with platinum and stainless steel lasting the longest, and magnesium and manganese molds wearing out the fastest.
